This family tree branches out in all directions. Some people may not be related to you. Some are not related to the list administrator. Because there are a lot of families represented on the heycuz yahoo newsgroup, we ask that you pay attention to the subject line and change it to represent the surname you are discussing. Others then can simply delete the mail if it is not of interest to them. If you feel that your branches of the family tree are not being discussed, you are encouraged to post a query or begin a discussion on the newsgroup. We can be a chatty bunch. You will receive anywhere from 0 to 20 messages a day. In our nine year history our monthly posts have been as low as 9 and as high as 654. Kind of. Heycuz is a group of genealogists who are all some way related. If you can find any of your ancestors or your spouse's ancestors on the website or if you are interested in any of the families or individuals found on this site, then this group will be of interest to you. However, genealogy is not all we discuss. We are a relaxed group where anything of interest to its members is open for discussion. This site is for our cousins, and so the more you participate--by posting to forums, adding research, submitting photographs--the more you'll get out of it.
