Before she became ill with cancer, Norma Josephine Sullivan Davis, my great aunt, was collecting family recipes to eventually publish in a book titled "Grandma's Secret Recipes." She passed away in 2004 and so the project was put on hold. Up until now, I'd kept her work in a folder, unpublished. It's time though to publish her hard work on the Heycuz website. She came from a long-line of excellent cooks, from her grandmother Ida May Dollins Buchanan DeVoll to her own mother Anna Ruth Buchanan Sullivan. It was only natural that she was such a great cook and knew that the secret wasn't the ingredients, the temperature, or the length of time, but it was that all of the dishes were made with love.
